Happy Thanksgiving!

Lock me up!What are you doing here? Go eat some turkey for me! I’ll be working all day, but it’s okay — I volunteered (I’m a fan of triple time). Things were going pretty nicely until the jerkweeds over at Verizon just called to complain that one of their cell towers is down. Don’t they understand that it’s a holiday and that people are probably used to their overpriced service sucking anyway?!

Anyway, before I go try and find out what Verizon is moaning about, here are seven things that I’m thankful for:

  1. My awesome friends and family (as opposed to my non-awesome friends and family)
  2. Off-road tires
  3. Bandwidth
  4. Cell signal
  5. My health
  6. Chinese food
  7. Uzbehkistan

Take care folks, and enjoy the holiday!

Yet another makeover…

Lock me up!I spent a couple hours this evening doing a little tidying up that I’d been meaning to get done for a while. I’m pretty pleased with the way the new theme turned out; especially the header (which took the bulk of my time since I kept starting over from scratch after coming close to finishing several times).

At this point, I’m content with the layout and color selection. In fact, I think the current look may stick around for quite a while. Who knows though — I tend to change my mind as often as women change the color of their nails (or the Asian people that they pay to work on their nails anyway). Next on my list of things to do: work on the photo gallery. Just like the Death Star II that hovered over Endor, the current photo gallery is functional but ugly… not to mention devoid of real photos! I want to theme it similar to what you see here or possibly even get it integrated into the rest of the site if I can swing it. That may be a tall order though, so we’ll see.

Please feel free to comment on the new look. Love it? Hate it? Did you immediately gouge out your eyes upon seeing it? Holla back!
